One of the things I heart most is observing pictures taken by someone who isn't a deemed artist but just is good at taking good shots and capturing rare moments with grace unintended. They didn't go to school for it, it's just a natural talent. Totally accidental and intentional at the same time. To me that is the best. My cousin took these shots in Venice Italy, and so I grabbed them and thanked him in my own way while explaining that this was going to be a part of my blog post. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did. My favorite specifics about these shots, the various pops of color and absolute fun and enjoyment of life you see from the people in the pictures...very inspiring.

Friday Tips and Tricks
1. Use a cheese grater, nail filer, pumice stone to add original flair to those old jeans. Dress up your jeans with a few more items click here for more info
2. Add on the bangles! If you are uncomfortable with the extra 'hang time' on your upper arm and have only begun to pump iron with those 2 to 5 pounds then stock up on the bangles almost halfway up the arm. Mix up the bangles by selecting large, medium and small bangles.
3. Mix up the smell goods. Pick up a light scented Muslim oil or other light scented oil in town and mix with a fruity or light floral scented favorite for a unique scent, of course if you don't want to dish out the extra cash to purchase your own perfume created with your DNA. One favorite that is good for mixing is Tommy Girl.

A Good Old Fashion Remedy from a Funky Cool Show
Okay saw this episode of What I Hate About me on Style channel and uh oh yes..loved it! Grabbed some awesome tips for tightening the body by adding a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water and taking a garlic oil pill.
Detoxify the body by soaking in a bath made with green tea and epsom salts. (The caffeine tightens the body and epsom salts helps to draw out the toxins from your body)

Are Your Feet Sandal Ready?
Okay now I ain't a fan of rocking all sorts of open toes at least I never was really before, but now you cannot keep me out of a pair of sandals. Nobody wants to walk around with sweaty feet, besides pretty toes equals healthy feet, most of the time. Giving yourself a pedicure doesn't have to be exhausting. It can be fun and quick with the right products. Call a girlfriend and have her join you or get your dude involved. Ask him to rub your feet with a little olive oil after you finish your pedi.
Pedicure favorites I swear by:
Pedicure favorites I swear by:
- Olive Oil (Grab a bottle from your local grocery store)..this feels so damn good on the skin, and makes it soft and moisturizes extremely well...good for hair too.
- Coconut Oil....
- Scented Bath Salts...makes the water and skin smell good.
- The Body Shop Moisture Booties...this replaces the plastic bag on your feet with vaseline overnight remedy (less messy) just slip these bad boys on.

Stay Good Looking and Healthy Inside & Out
Yummy good stuff Quaker Oats Raisin, dates, and walnut oatmeal for breakfast. Now this goody goody is packed with plenty of vitamins, iron, and dietary fiber and only dishes out just 165 calories per bowl. Now that is some guilt free breakfast feasting. Anyway be sure to check out the knock off from Giant or whatever brand your favorite supermarket offers. (And no I wasn't paid to advertise this) it's just damn good breakfast eating for a gal.

Five Inexpensive Ways to Get Organized
No. 1~ Use leftover containers and bins to sort your smaller items such as curling rods, curlers, bobby pins, thin headbands, hair clips, and other miscellaneous items not mentioned here. Try to stick with using clear containers so you can see the contents to make it easier to find your items when you need them.No. 2~ Gather various baskets and use them to stash your bracelets (bangles), sunglasses and other accessories you cannot find a home for.
No. 3~ Use shoe bins (preferably the kind you can actually hang in the closet). These are great for storing your clutches, scarves, small wallets, thin coin purses and also sunglasses. Good thing is, you can still put away a few flats in the bin along with the other accessory items as well.
No. 4~ Grab the hammer and add a few hooks to the inside of your closet. I've also seen folks use bulletin boards and other types of boards to hang their necklaces onto. With hooks (either plastic or metal, preferably metal) you can drape several necklaces onto the hook and grab one when looking into your closet to grab your shoes, bracelets or other items.
No. 5~ Stack up those hatboxes. Hatboxes make good storage for the hair pieces, pedicure accessories, and whatever else you need to find a home for. They come in a variety of styles and sizes and are mad chic by the way. While you're at it pick up a few mannequin heads (styrofoam) to store away those full and half wigs.

Accessories make the outfit
Adding an accessory is like adding the cherry to the banana split. Accessories elevate an outfit and add that extra somethin' somethin'. There are so many to choose from. You can carry a vintage clutch that demands attention but also compliments your attire, add a pair of glitzy earrings or simple depending on the threads, or even unique necklaces, shoes, an eclectic brooch, hat, scarves, shoes, hair accessories, you name it. You can have so much fun with accessories but don't have to bleed your pockets doing so either.

Gift Giving at its best
There are plenty of reasons for gift giving during this time of year. Let’s see we have Valentines Day, graduations, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, new births, new home purchases or new apartments and other relocations, job promotions and new jobs, business ventures and connections, and a whole other host of occasions that appear throughout the year. It is easy to go into a local shop or drug store to grab an attractive item off the shelf, a card and gift bag to wrap the item in preparation for its’ recipient. Or you can give someone a gift basket or other original gift. I have always done this for various friends and family members. When you give a gift that is created with a personal touch that shows someone has really taken the time out to create something extra special just for them, it really sends the message home that you care and think that individual is extra special.
