No. 1~ Use leftover containers and bins to sort your smaller items such as curling rods, curlers, bobby pins, thin headbands, hair clips, and other miscellaneous items not mentioned here. Try to stick with using clear containers so you can see the contents to make it easier to find your items when you need them.No. 2~ Gather various baskets and use them to stash your bracelets (bangles), sunglasses and other accessories you cannot find a home for.
No. 3~ Use shoe bins (preferably the kind you can actually hang in the closet). These are great for storing your clutches, scarves, small wallets, thin coin purses and also sunglasses. Good thing is, you can still put away a few flats in the bin along with the other accessory items as well.
No. 4~ Grab the hammer and add a few hooks to the inside of your closet. I've also seen folks use bulletin boards and other types of boards to hang their necklaces onto. With hooks (either plastic or metal, preferably metal) you can drape several necklaces onto the hook and grab one when looking into your closet to grab your shoes, bracelets or other items.
No. 5~ Stack up those hatboxes. Hatboxes make good storage for the hair pieces, pedicure accessories, and whatever else you need to find a home for. They come in a variety of styles and sizes and are mad chic by the way. While you're at it pick up a few mannequin heads (styrofoam) to store away those full and half wigs.
